Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to DocLoupe.com and the DocLoupe desktop application, provided by Rietta Inc., a Georgia corporation in the United States, publicly branded as Rietta Cybersecurity.
This site follows Rietta Inc.’s company-wide Privacy Policy. That policy describes our general practices for communications, service providers, security, information sharing, and privacy requests. The sections below explain what applies specifically to DocLoupe. Tracking tools used on other Rietta websites are not necessarily used here.
This website
DocLoupe.com is hosted on Netlify. Hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, requested pages, and access logs to deliver and protect the website. See Netlify’s Privacy Statement.
This site does not currently include Google Analytics, advertising pixels, newsletter tracking scripts, or embedded third-party fonts. Following a link to another website takes you to that site’s own privacy practices.
Contact forms and launch updates
Our contact form is processed by Netlify Forms, which receives and stores your submission on our behalf. It collects your email address and any name, organization, platform interests, message, and launch-update preference you choose to provide. Netlify also performs spam filtering, as described in its form spam filtering documentation.
We use these details to respond to your inquiry. If you explicitly select launch updates, we may also email you about DocLoupe’s launch and availability. That selection is optional and is not required to contact us. You may ask us to stop sending updates at any time through the contact details below or by replying to an update.
We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for their own marketing. Our service providers process information as needed to handle submissions and communications. We retain inquiries as business correspondence under the company-wide policy, which describes indefinite retention of direct communications. You may contact us about access, correction, or deletion.
Please do not submit confidential documents, passwords, or AI bearer tokens through this website.
The DocLoupe desktop application
DocLoupe is in development. Our design promise is that, once installed, the application requires no network access to operate. It is designed to work on air-gapped computers or on a local network without external connections. The app does not phone home or upload your scanned documents to Rietta or a DocLoupe API. Scanning does not modify the source documents.
The scanner reads the document files you select wherever your operating system makes them available, including direct disk access, network-attached storage, and other mounted locations. Accessing those files may involve connections managed by your operating system or storage provider.
Project data, findings, previews, and comments are stored in the project environment you select. If you place a project on a network share or in Dropbox or another sync service, that environment’s permissions and service policies govern who can access it and how it is synchronized. Sharing a project can expose document content and project discussions to others with access.
Website contact submissions are separate from the app’s local document processing.
Planned optional AI
AI integration is planned, not yet available, and is not required to operate DocLoupe. If you enable it in a future release, you will supply an OpenAI-compatible endpoint and bearer token. AI requests will use only the endpoint and authentication you configure. Requests and the content needed for the selected AI task will go to that endpoint, which may be a public provider, local server, or private intranet service. The endpoint operator’s policies govern its processing and retention. No DocLoupe API is required. Without optional AI enabled, the app is designed to run entirely offline or on your local network without external connections.
App stores
Microsoft Store and Mac App Store distribution are planned. Store providers handle purchases, accounts, and store interactions under their own privacy policies. The legal publisher name is Rietta Inc. Rietta does not manage Microsoft Store or Mac App Store systems and cannot speak for the connections or network checks those systems may perform. Our offline-operation promise describes the DocLoupe application, not the app stores or their supporting systems.
